maybe, but the pats will score 40+ points and garrard will throw multiple ints.

Oh I forgot how much Garrard turns the ball over.

Brady to Moss will have a hard time hooking up with Taylor and Jones-Drew gashing that D for 6 yards a carry.

you guys are high. the jags stink. i'm not of the belief that the pats are going to roll through the playoffs, but they will beat the jags easily. the game will be over by the first quarter.
doubtful. here's the deal, there's unfamiliarity between these two teams. jax has been on the road, so that won't be an intimidating factor.

i'm just telling you, their style of play is the kind of style that can beat the patriots. i will be shocked if Jax gets blown out.

Agree.

Jags are a nice story...winning at NE is another story all together.
don't get me wrong, i'd have to pick NE right now, can't pick against 'em for obvious reasons, but this jax team is tough. as long as they don't let the aura of playing against the pats af foxboro get to them, they can play. im not going to compare the Steelers and pats as teams, but Jax has been to Pittsburgh, twice this year, and come away with w's. the first time in history anyone's ever done that. the weather won't bother them. the crowd won't bother them.

the pats d can be a recipie for that, but gerard has proven to be careful with the ball all season.

i don't think anyone would disagree that the jags have to play a great game to win, if they turnover the ball, have penalties etc...they'll lose. but if they play like they have of late, they got a shot.

this will be a competitive game.

If someone is looking to pick an upset, I can see the allure to this one. Pats looked beatable against the Giants, and the Pats went all out in that game. Actually, I was thinking about picking the Jags as the upset until I watched them play the Steelers. That is what threw me off of them. 9 of 21 passing is not going to cut it against the Pats. Also, Taylor and Jones averaged about 3 YPC.

I am salivating though.... to think... if David Garrard can have a game like that.... Peyton's gonna throw for a bazillion yards :) Colt/Pats is gonna be a the game of the century... shades of that San Diego game about 25-30 years ago. Back/forth all day.... first to punt loses.
