Nick Reveiz is more compatible than Jumper.

Nick was a walkon? I am not 100% but i dont think that was the case at all. He redshirted as a freshman then was part of the rotation from then on..thats not normally how walkons work ya know...Im gonna go back and check but im pretty sure he was part of the 2008 recruiting class and a scholarship plater from day 1.

How about this lets not diverge too much? Will Brooks is a dude that would not be denied. I saw him on players lounge last week and he is just a likeable normal guy id hang out with if i was in my 20's again. Soft spoken hard hitting just how we like em. He was just that guy that would not be denied once they put him on the feild. Started with emergency spot duty and he never let go. This is gonna sound crazy to some but if you know to story of Shannon Sharpe in the NFL or Gilbert Arenas/Ben Wallace in the NBA it feels like that except Brooks came in even lower on the totem pole.

I would agree with you. Nick played with a good football iq and a ton of heart. Difference is Brooks has prototypical dimensions for his position, and at least good enough speed that he seems to always be in the right spot.

Reviez was indeed a walk on that later earned a scholarship. When he earned it, i don’t quite remember?

Earned a starting spot in 2009 after kiffin arrived, tore his acl mid-season, returned to start his senior season in 2010 as well. But I know for a fact that he was a former walk on.

Where Will gets you is when we get the offense in bad situations in down and distance he has a great instincts and feel for where things are going to go. He is a solid player with great instincts. GBO

He may not.. but if you know where the ball is going you don’t need to be the fastest player. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes undrafted snd we see him playing somewhere.
