It’s amazing what continuity and trust will do. You can see it when HH stands in the pocket. He ain’t worried, just waiting on his receivers to come free.So was LSU’s BJ Olari(sp?). I haven’t given our O-line enough credit this year, they’ve quietly done an awesome job.
This is the the best Tennessee offensive line in 20 years in my opinion. It’s amazing what continuity and trust will do. You can see it when HH stands in the pocket. He ain’t worried, just waiting on his receivers to come free.
But he has the ability to take off if need be. That’s something that has been missing in recent years, and it sure is glorious to see!!
I’ll admit I believed he was the best defensive player in college football…and he might be. The fact that he had nothing to do with this game still baffles me. The blocking effort our kids and coaches had against him was nothing short of amazing. I didn’t believe we could stop him….but damned if we didn’t. Simply incredible.
Man after Mahoney and Malarkey or whatever Butch's and Pruitt's o-line coaches were named, Elerby is a god among o-line coaches in comparison. Pay this whole staff!Quietest 1/2 sack game I’ve ever seen in my life by the most dominant defensive player in the college game, over the last year and a half. Hooker had all day and there was plenty of room to run for everyone, Alabama only had 2 TFLs in the entire game and UT rushed for 180+. Easily the best performance by the offensive line in a very long time. Kudos to the offensive staff and game plan, but if I’m honest, Elerby is one of the keys to this special season. He has this unit playing well and they may be one of the best in CFB.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I was informed last night that WA was injured earlier this year and missed a few games due to the injury.
I don't really follow Bama football so this was news to me.
Allegedly, he's still recovering and that's why he wasn't much of a factor.
whatever.
