It ain't going to be enough to sway guys like Luc or Elam. Where Gran goes has no bearing on our class now.

Ya'll are wishing way to much. Whether he leaves or not will have very little effect on our recruits this year.

I agree with your last point, Gran sealed the deal with guys who were already looking for a reason to commit to FSU. If Tuberville, lands the Texas Tech job you can wish whatever you want but Gran will be out the door and on his way to Lubbick.

I agree. I think that is why he did not sign a contract and took less money at UT. He is just waiting for TT to get a job and if it is at TT....hey TT at TT...anyway I digress....Gran will be on the road again.

On the Rivals main board one of their Mods said that Gran and Tubbs had a meeting in South Fla after his visit with Lyden Trail then Tubbs flew into Texas to speak with official. Word is he's putting together his staff while his agent and TT admin work out the contract details. Gran buyout isn't much if he takes a HC or OC job.

Per The Scoop:

Texas Tech: Neal Brown accepted the OC position.

Looks like Gran will stay at FSU

Anyone who thought Gran was going to go from being RB's coach to OC is ridiculous. However, this is not to say that CTT is not making room on his staff for Gran. See recruiting coordinator, and "associate head coach" or some other fancy titles thrown his way, along with RB's coach or WR's coach.

Per The Scoop : Saturday January 9, 2010

Texas Tech: We hear Tubs wants James Willis (Alabama linebackers / associate head coach) and Eddie Gran ( Florida State running backs / special teams coordinator) as his coordinators

I hope Gran does go to Tech! I would rather see him in Texas then living in FLA.
