That would have been soul crushing had he come to UT.

That's what I was thinking as well.

I actually hope he's eligible, the basketball fan in me wants to see him play in college. (That was slightly painful to say)

I didn't know Will Barton was ruled ineligible. Looks like we missed out on some serious headaches this year.

I'm glad he went to Kansas and not Kentucky. Now that would have been heartbreaking.

It never ceases to baffle me why someone would take the time to navigate to a non-Vol forum and open a non-Vol thread, just to post that they don't care...

People don't care, yet they take the time to click on the thread and respond. Brilliant.

I hope he makes it in. As a basketball fan, I want to see the top talent on the court, Knoxville or elsewhere.

Agree on both.

I think it may have gotten moved to another forum (quickly). The problem is that many of us only visit basketball, football and recruiting forums. I understand that selby is not a UT student, but he was committed here for a long time and there was tremendous "scandal" associated with him. Just my thoughts.

I'm pretty tired of agents being involved in anything... They shouldn't be allowed to contact anyone until the kid declared for the draft...

It's now in the "Around the NCAA" forum. I posted it here because of the many lengthy discussions that took place here during his recruitment. Now that it's over and he didn't sign with Tennessee I suppose that is probably the proper place for it now.

I think I read a blurb this morning on the bottom of Sportscenter that said the NCAA is declaring Josh Selby, freshman guard at Kansas, ineligible. It said the NCAA is questioning Selby's amateur status. If I recall I believe we were after him for quite some time. If this comes out to be true then I am glad that we didn't sign him for all of the negative publicity that it might bring.
