Will Josh Selby play this year?

Wow. Big sigh of relief.

He was a UT commit at one point and then wavered down to the wire.

Glad he chose Kansas now.

Me too. I'm glad the team has known for months who will be on the court next year. Would have sucked to think he was in the fold this long only to have him taken away. That's if he ends up being ineligible.

If this gets confirmed it will feel so much better not getting him with nobody getting him then getting him and not using him. IMO

Hehe, I smiled this morning when it went across espn.

me too, I am so glad that we aren't dealing with it.

This shat with the NCAA doing this all of the time is getting a little old though. The rules need to be altered in my opinion. telling players they cant play in college because the talked to agents and stuff is BS.

As long as they arent excepting money or expensive gifts or betting on games, I have no concerns.

Let the kids play, especially if they are Vols.

Kanter will get cleared. The NCAA is just taking its sweet time, as usual, with checking all of his overseas teams. He should be cleared by the end of august.

thank goodness a clearly objective observer came in here to bring us the incontrovertible truth.

Easy there big guy. I was just stating what I had heard. Just because I'm a Kentucky fan, doesnt mean my opinion doesnt count.

Tony Jones said when Selby decommited that something didn't smell right! After the fact, I think that's why asst. coach Jones was so disappointed that Selby didn't choose UT. He probably knew that if Selby went to Kentucky or Kansas (SO FAR from home and to coaches that hadn't been recruiting him that long at all!) that he probably did at the bequest of his mother who was looking for something out of the deal! Maybe I'm wrong, but the NCAA said his amateur status is in question, not me!
