Will Kentucky finish in the Top 10 in football this year?

I think they were 7th last year? Top10 may be a stretch but they are returning a lot of firepower. If SEC East defenses are not up to the task (UT secondary **cough**cough**) KY might pull of a couple of shockers this year.

I think they could slip into the third spot in the SECE IF they get some breaks and beat USC and UT.

This may be the best team KY has had since the Couch era, maybe even better than any Couch team because they should have some semblance of a defense. Unfortunately for them, they play at Arky and vs LSU. I just don't see how they can win the East with that schedule.

If they are ever going to do any thing, this would be the year to do it.

The schedule does not favor them, but goodness how are UT, UF, and UG going to do?

They may not win the west but I wouldn't be surprised to see them to split their 4 games against the SEC East powers-SC, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, they will win 2 games against these teams.

Florida and Georgia will trample them.

what has georgia done(other that reputation) to make you say that?

ky couldve beaten us at home last year if it wasnt for the late delay or false start penalty. btw which was it i was there but cant remember. i do remember a ky fan bitchin about how small our seats were when he shouldve been doing something about how fat his butt was. we needed every yelling mouth to pull that one out. i rode up there from memphis with my cousin from ky, i wouldve hated the ride back.

I see no evidence as to why Georgia will beat them, South Carolina and Tennessee have no reason to blow them away either. This is a good Kentucky team that will win atleast 8 games maybe 9.

Kentucky is more overrated than any team in the SEC this year...sorry Brian...They had Ole Miss and MSU out of the west last year. They'll still have MSU, but the other 2 west opponents are Arkansas and LSU.

UK won't be favored against UT, LSU, or Florida at home...and they'll have to play UGA, USC, and Vandy on the road.

I think Kentucky is an improved football team...but I don't see them winning more than 5 games...possibly 6 if they can pull off an upset against Louisville, UT, or South Carolina.

They didn't do to good of a job at it last year.

Trust me on this one. Georgia goes into next year with experience at QB and for the first time, an actual offensive coordinator. They might not be able to stop anybody, but they will move the football.

I stated this in a previous post somewhere, but I am telling you, KY scares me. I know I may get some laughs out of that, but this MIGHT be the year they learn how to play 4 qrtrs...and if they do...:cray:

just so i'm clear, the list of teams we should be scared of now includes:
KY
NCSU
Clemson

holy crap.....and we still have to play FL, GA, Bama and Cal and S. C.

oof. i guess us, MSU, Ole Miss and Vandy have no shot huh?

Randy Sanders knows our defensive schemes unfortunately, and Cutcliffe might have to do some different things offensively at Kentucky.
