Nah, Kiff will coach at USC, this is his dream job, remember. Who knows though, a couple of years down the road. Kiff might want to weigh his ego against possible termination when the effects of the sanctions are felt. And what possibilities that would open up for some coaches to throw their hat into the ring for an SC job, starting with the "young" Phil Fulmer. If Fulmer was interested in the ND job, he certainly would want to "float" his name for an SC job. No chance for PF, but it would give him a few moments of publicity and a short ego boost.Sort of a gut feeling. USC will be hiring a new president this year who, in turn, will have an entire athletic department now on his/her watch. First order of business is to fire the athletic director who, under his watch, now has a football and basketball program on probation. First order of business for athletic director is to fire any coach whom he believes will not get the athletic program back in line with the NCAA.
Maybe a little more than a gut feeling.
