Unless a major donor decides to throw the money at UT in order to help pay for those schollies AND an equal amount of women's schollies, nope.

Soccer before Lacrosse in my opinion..but good old equality has ensured there will be no men's soccer at UT.

I think I'm gonna go with College Sand Volleyball.

Great point on volleyball :) But for some of the naysayers I would think strong football fan bases would appreciate the speed, physical nature and action in lacrosse versus some other spring sports which are either low scoring or snore-a-palooza

I always looked at lacrosse as a game for kids that weren't athletic enough for football or basketball, too slow for soccer, and just not interested in baseball.

Not fast enough for soccer? How many lacrosse games have you watched? The other comments might be valid although at the HS level a number of football players also play lacrosse as it's much more physical than baseball or soccer.

My kid plays football, basketball and Lax...loves them all

Lacrosse is like golf in some ways, it's only exciting if you're playing. Trying to follow a match on TV, especially if it's being played on a football field that is still marked for football, is close to impossible.
