Sab said in his blog (I believe) that he, and the Nances' were getting death threats.....could be why he's not in school.

He can take correspondence courses and really up his grades. I flunked my first semester of Junior English due to my own laziness (I'm not proud of it, just owning up). I retook it via correspondence course and got an easy "A". Back in my day, you just filled out a few multiple choice forms and mailed them in.

First post, hope I dont mess up.

Someone on twitter asked @darickrogers there are rumors that you may not make the grades?! I hope this is just a dirty rumor being spread by bitter GA fans?!??

To which he responded:mad:NBKGault it is ha

So I wouldnt worry, sounds like some Georgia fans are making things up as they go along.

I have heard from multiple sources in GA that he does seem to skip school A LOT!!! and has no real academic ambitions what so ever.

Many, many, many athletes skip school all the time. Somehow the administration seems to turn a blind eye to it and the athlete gets in no trouble at all

From the AJC article about him switching to UT

"Is that right?,” Calhoun coach Hal Lamb, sounding unsurprised, said when asked if he’d heard the news on Rogers. “I don’t know. I haven’t been able to reach him. He wasn’t at school again today.”

Hal Lamb is the son of Ray Lamb, the Coordinator of High School Relations at UGA. Hal has been pressing hard for Rogers to go to UGA. I don't think I would have went to school either.

No way this is true because, correct me if I'm wrong, he signed at his school. If he was suspended he wouldn't be able to be on campus.

He is/was suspended - not sure if he still is or what the duration was for the suspension.

Does he have to graduate. I mean what if he wanted to jus quit school now and get his G.E.D. where would he stand as a recruit? As long as he has that and a good SAT/ACT score he should be gtg righto?

This isn't true because because on Wednesday of this week he said that his computer class was easy on that day.

He just has to have a high school degree or equivalent and an act or sat score high enough. He could just get his ged and admited to school if his test score is high enough.
