Will the EE's get to practice

I know we're anxious to keep improving but, come on, let's not act desperate. These are still high school kids who deserve to enjoy some of their senior years before they have to face the likes of us. Sure, some will be ready, but more will need their last semester to both graduate and grow up a bit more.:salute:

Stop being reasonable! Tennessee football is THE most important thing in all of our lives and if these kids don't agree they dont "want it" and we don't need em.

And?

Nobody is forcing them to early enroll. With the NCAA 20 hour rule, 14 extra practices is a BIG deal. Probably a bigger deal than playing in some mediocre bowl, in a matchup of "almost good teams". Nobody is kidding themselves here, the extra practices won't turn the EE's into all-Americans, but it could help their development. So yes, it's exciting.

If I recall correctly from last year, they were able to participate in some (maybe 5), but not all of the practices.

lol looks like more questions than answers in this thread. I'm pretty sure we've had several high school EE's practice with the team before bowls in the past. And I'm also pretty sure they are even allowed to play in the bowl, but it'll never happen because it would burn a whole year of eligibility.

what you said is true but not sure what it has to do with the question. He's asking about the players that have decided to graduate HS early and enter UT in January and start their football career. Since they've already made that choice it's a good idea to at least bring them out and let them get used to the program

I think the reality is there is a lot of pressure to enroll early if you can. Shortens the time to the big payday. If we had a full roster EEs would be a minor bit of trivia (jmo-of course).:peace2:

I'm very certain I heard about Bray and Fugate participating in some of the pre-bowl practices last season. Very.

What position do you play?

A little strong. I love my alma mater, but I am a little to rational to be over zealous.

I would argue that if you have posted on Volnation over 2000 times since 09, you are overzealous.

*definition - Excessively enthusiastic
