Will the O&W game be televised?

UTSports.com says "The game will air live on ESPN3 at 2 p.m., with a re-broadcast on ESPNU at a day and time to be announced"

Dish Network being a sponsor of the game (as they have been the last five years) has no bearing on the game being televised.

ESPN, through the SEC contract, has the right to select any of the spring games to be televised, even if it's on tape delay. Since ESPN selected ours for a broadcast, UT could not make it available to SportSouth to show live or on same-day tape.

ESPN will live stream the game on ESPN3.com. Since they selected it, UT had no control over the time/day it will be shown. From an exposure standpoint, the ESPN3/ESPNU deal is huge because ESPNU re-runs those all summer long.

Thanks DP. Any early indication on times and networks for any of the early season games?
