Will the Squad be Re-Elected in 2020

Lemme know how many other under-30s got elected to Congress.
She won the primary with less than 17,000 vote in a district of 750,000 people. Tlaib's opponent from the "Working Class People Party" garnered more votes.
I would not call that impressive I'd say that was lucky, or a well guided by someone who knew the district was beyond apathetic.

She graduated BC with honors and two majors after attending on scholarship and was elected to Congress before she was 30. All after being raised poor in the Bronx. Pray tell, did you do anything remotely close to that?
Poor in the Bronx? You sure about that?

AOC grew up in Yorktown Heights, NY, with a father who was an architect... according to wikipedia:

The median income for a household in the CDP was $108,648, and the median income for a family was $137,580. Males had a median income of $91,365 versus $80,261 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $41,349.

As usual...... a bunch of dumb garbage coming from a poster on this thread. But then when do ambulance chasers care about the truth?

I hope they all get re-elected. There is nothing sweeter than watching the democratic party follow these women over the cliff as they impose their will on the moderates which will drive them to the republicans.

AMEN! These women are a blessing to the Republican party because they make the Dems look even more foolish.

Incomprehensible that an accomplished college kid takes a few years after graduating to find her calling ... and then knocks it out of the ballpark.

The only "calling" was the bar to offer her a job. And if by knocking it out of the park, you imply she is the poster child for everything wrong with American Government, then by all means, yes.

And then immediately starts griping about how expensive it is living in DC.

I'm sure she has already taken bribes and PAC money to offset living expenses.

Build congressional dormitory suites, limit terms, eliminate lifetime healthcare and salaries and see how many leeches leave the DC.

Show us on the doll where a bartender touched you.

AOC is going to win and primarily she will win because, like the people in this thread, instead of any challenges of substance Republicans has simply resorted to name calling. It has not been effective and it looks like she's going to cruise to a second term.

Much like the Obama democrats, Republicans have gotten lazy. They just resort to name calling and feel that is sufficient to win any argument. They parrot discredited, half baked theories and believe them to be gospel.

It may have something to do with the fact that her district votes around 75-80% Democrat in both House and Presidential elections, and hasn't been represented by a Republican in almost 30 years. She would have to get primaried to lose.

She may not even have a district come election time

But you guys have made her a hero, by belittling her as a dumb bartender.

I think she is a puppet for a larger cause, and not that bright, but I don't think I have made fun of her chosen profession, except as it pertains to Dink. Someone needs to get people drunk, and send them out to drive on the roads.

My original point, will she have a primary opponent (perhaps funded by Nancy directly or indirectly) that will take her out of the running. Two years ago she only received 17,000 votes!
If she gets redistricted will the new district be carved out for her to take the seat or will it be designed to make sure she doesn't.
