Nothing will happen to them. They already self imposed some weak penalties to gain favor with the NCAA.

Rumor is that 13 more violations have been discovered, bringing the grand total up to around 44 violations.

I don't know. I think the NCAA will fell the need to show that it still has some teeth, especially under the new tier system they implemented for violations. And they would prefer to do it to a school that is not one of the big cash cows, so Ole Miss would seem a likely target.

I don't know how many of their players-signees have received their signing bonuses from Freeze.

The NCAA has dentures now and they are ill fitting. OM will skate.

This. If they're not going to do anything with Miami or North Carolina, they're not going to do anything to OM.

Your National Championship teams are bought and paid for. I think to even things out we need to create a salary cap.

Perhaps, but if Ole Miss does skate then I think every school, including UT, will need to get with its major boosters and tell them to prepare to open up their bank accounts if they want their schools to land elite players because it will be the Wild, Wild West in SEC recruiting.

13 more harsh talking to's and slaps on the wrist, with an extra special "we promise to be good" clause written in glitter.

Have they even said anything about Miami or North Carolina? Any reason given for nothing being done?

Yeah I heard James Comey has looked at it and while he agrees Ole Miss has been very careless with recruiting rules he's going to recommend no punishment because they probably didn't mean any harm by it. Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.

Seems like the prudent, just, and honorable course for everyone.

Wrong. Neither UNC nor Miami have beat Alabama. The NCAA, the SEC, Alabama judges, and government officials get very piszed about that.. NZAA will have no choice

I've been hearing there is a lot more about to come out on them. The self imposed penalties were laughable for all the level 1 violations that were committed. I think the weak self imposed penalties is actually going to end up hurting them big-time in the long run with the NCAA. And none of this original stuff even has to do with Tunsil does it?

Honest question. What makes you think that this is not already true?

Correct, the Tunsil stuff hasn't even been dealt with by the NCAA yet.

So does Forde have the stones to fire his shot on the morning of their Media Day?
