I think LSU had a tough decision back then. Couldn’t fire him till they got the NOA. Would have owed him what $15 million? Now they fire him with cause so no payout but they are going to get nailed with heavy penalties for not firing him. Sort of between a rock and a hard place.I hope they lay the hammer down on them. If LSU fires that scumbag when this all started…different story. That LSU Regular Season Championship we should’ve won that year should be stripped from them.
Yeah, I said is sort of tongue-in-cheek, but he'd be a stabilizing factor for an athletic department in total disarray. And as I said, earlier, he has experience navigating these waters. And it’s really not a bad idea. They won’t win a lot of games, but he is a good human being which is something that that athletic department is starved for.
$15,000,000 is chump change to LSU Athletics. They were arrogant about it.I think LSU had a tough decision back then. Couldn’t fire him till they got the NOA. Would have owed him what $15 million? Now they fire him with cause so no payout but they are going to get nailed with heavy penalties for not firing him. Sort of between a rock and a hard place.
I read an article a few years ago that claimed that all of Alabama’s money to pay players flows through a state bank. Using a state bank prevents audits from outside entities. The article alleged that the only way an audit could occur is if the state legislature authorized it. So, no chance of that happening.Been waitin' on that for years..........the great Bahr was one of the biggest cheaters..........
