Will we play Dixieland Delight when we beat 'Bama at Neyland?

I've always said...this song is ACTUALLY about Tennessee...

But the Stupid Bammers sing it with pride...

Rocky Top till their ears bleed will do just fine IMHO!

The singers have always said the song is about Tennessee when they literally say it's about Tennessee twice in the opening verse.

Only idiot Bama fans would say "hey the band is named Alabama, it's gotta be about us".

I used to know Teddy Gentry a little. His son went to Auburn. I asked him how that happened and he said “well, you know? You try and raise him right then he goes and does somethin’ like that…”

I had the privilege of meeting Randy Owen through a family friend. Absolutely one of the nicest guys you'd ever wanna meet.

For PC purposes, can we just play delight, and then go to Dolly's Stampede
If Rocky Top isn’t good enough………………………………………………………………………………………………….

play Tennessee Christmas and hug someone you don’t know.

I hope not - that's another teams' tradition and us playing their song / mocking their tradition is just disrespectful.
Now lighting up the cigars, count me in as that is a tradition shared by both teams.

You have to admit, though, it was much less disrespectful (and much more intelligent) than their, "Hey, Vols! Hey, Vols! Hey, Vols! We just beat the hell out of you!"

I am bringing some of my wife's relatives from Peru to the Bama game, it would be so nuts if we could pull it off. I really really hope we do.

Wow!!! Those folks must have thought they were on a different planet lol. I am 45 years old...dont think i have ever seen Neyland like it was tonight. Standing room only and VERY few gumps onsite. ..just a sea of orange as it should be.

That was epic troll level expert whoever gave the green light to play DLD after winning that game. I think the Bama fans literally s*** their pants when it started playing.

30 years from now, there'll be a College GameDay segment by a geriatric kirk herbstreit, who will be toting Lee Corso's head in a jar (a la Futurama), about the Tennessee Saturday night the Vols took back Dixieland Delight.
