Spend a lot of time in the huddle?

No doubt moslem supremacists the world over hold
open a special place in their heart for dhimmis like you.

This was from about two years ago, not that we don't have AGW crap recycled daily in the media.

News Blog: Multiple tiny earthquakes rattle Yellowstone. Could the big one be far behind?

Question, instead of spending hundreds of billions of
dollars combatting the co2 myth, do you think we
might spend a dime trying to prevent a real threat
like this???

For instance, could we drill into the caldera and
relieve pressure
??

From what I understand these calderas eventually "unzip" and when they do all hell breaks loose, relieving pressure here and there would probably amount to splashing water at a tsunami to mke it go away.

As I understand it the dome grows above the calera until it colapses, when that happens then there is a great explosion.

To me the trick would be would be to releive the pressures that cause the dome to rise.

I suspect if that could be done then we could gather enough energy to fuel more than the whole worlds needs.

I'm not saying this could be done but am saying research on such a project would be worth far more than all the money we are funnelling into solar and wind technology which are never going to fiill our needs.

Ya, worldwide crop failures are awesome. Look up 1815.

What kind of geologist are you?

Seems like he is the kind of geoligist who would reveal his credentials if you would do the same which you seem unwilling to do.

Petroleum...

What kind of geologist are you?
Are you certified in any state yet?
How many degrees do you have?
How long have you been practicing as a professional geologist?

Bump.

Global warming will be the culprit.

Stands to reason, we've already established we can blame the volcanoes in Iceland on agw. :swoon3:

I never claimed to be a geologist. You just dont seem to know much about earth-atmosphere interactions.

Never claimed to be a geologist. I have two degrees, working on a third.

Sorry. In my line of work, none of my management has ever ask me about the worldwide crop failure of 1815. They were more concerned about, oil migration, trap integrity, paleofacies maps, fault analysis, reservoir simulation models, uncertainty analysis and dumb things like that. I will recommend that we put "crop failure" on the agenda for my upcoming meeting with Exxon next month.:birgits_giggle: I am sure that will have an impact on our decision as to whether we drill the next 150 million dollar well. :)
