So one of the unexpected consequences of this is that with an "approved" vaccine forced out of the gate, people will no longer volunteer to be inoculated with some random crazy ass test vaccine. Need 30K to do a Stage 3.
And... oh BTW....
The FDA will approve a Stage 3 drug if it achieves 50% efficacy (performs 50% better than a placebo). So... vaccine is 50% effective. Grandma gets vaccine, thinks "I'm good!", goes out, catches CV19, dies.

If you are basing on 50% that’s actually a better rate than the flu shot grandma gets . I believe it’s somewhere between 30-60% ( if they even guess the right strain ) .
