True. We have to get out of Gainesville first. Then we start a tough stretch of UTSA, SCar, aTm and then Bama at Tuscaloosa. We get out of that without a loss, oh man! But it’s gonna be a tall order. Who knows what aTm and Bama will look like this year.

Absolutely! To the crowd that says “act like we’ve been there before”, that is exactly what I am doing. We rush the field. We tear down the posts. That’s Tennessee, that’s what we do. There is no other school that celebrates the way we do and it’s contagious and recruits, players, coaches etc, love it! Like someone else said, why miss an opportunity to party in the greatest place on earth?! So if we are undefeated going into that game and we win, I’m rushing the field. The players want us to as much as we want to. Do it for them if for no other reason. GO VOLS!!

My gut says it will be context. If we beat them last second, I can see everyone flooding the field because that amount of anxiety leads to it. If we actually win the game in a normal fashion and the closing minutes are immaterial, then I don't see it happening. 'Bama was just the perfect situation. Loved it.

I mean that would probably send a message our players and fans "Expect to beat their asses IMO". That would have a greater impact than a shock the world rush the field experience to me anyway. Bama has history that UGA will never attain, whole different perspective with Bama. But no we should go into every game with a winning mentality

I don't think it's worth it. Outside of beating Florida,beating a historic rival like Alabama that UT didn't beat in 15 year last year,and to do at home made sense to have the celebration that happened. Georgia is Georgia. As good as they are, I don't see it happening.

No, I don’t see it happening. Nor should it. It was pretty cool last season against Bama, especially with how the game went and ended. Bama is a powerhouse and winning that game was a statement that the Vols are back. But it’s done now, no need to do it again so soon.

If you hadn’t beat Bama, then yes I could see it happening if you beat GA this season bc that would be a statement. But the statement has already been said IMO. Now it’s just time for the Vols to keep backing it up with more wins.

I would say, for 15 years we hadn’t been there, so we deserved to enjoy it.

I don't think we would. When we beat them in 2015 we had lost 5 of 6, they were ranked, and we beat them on a last second defensive stop. We didn't rush it then, but that was the first time we had "arrived." I think we're a little past that at this point in time. Add 10 more years like Bama last year, and it could certainly be different.

Won't be as real as Bama. Bama had been forever and Bama is better than Georgia. Let it be this year.

Bama was visceral, and it was last second.

If you beat an undefeated Georgia last second, I'd be for it. If Georgia has lost, or we whoop them, it would be more experience chasing. "I did it!" type of thing.

Yeah, class like they displayed when Fulmer ran up a long winning streak against them, way too many believing all the concocted Paul Finebaum show gossip. Or like poisoning the tree at Toomer's Corner after AU kicked their a$$. Or like the Bama kid who tea-bagged the LSU kid in a restaurant. Classy bunch, those Bama fans. I guess we should act like them when we're on top of the college football world (but we didn't). (And, I live among them, too!)

Oh god please don't give the butt sniffers more ammo to use against us...I say don't give em the courtesy...They aren't worth it..Plus it would be embarrassing for our AD to go and ask for more donations to replace the goal posts...Plus it just doesn't make us look like we have already been there before....I EXPECT to beat those bozo's....Every year.

I bought tickets to the Georgia game last night. I wasn’t at Bama last year and regret it big time. I’ll be on that field this time!
