Didn’t Paul start out as a WR.
Yeah kinda, 1964 he started at Right End in Dickey's system which more of a tight end position than wide receiver. 1965 he move to Defensive End and would have played there in 66 if not for the death of Tom Fisher.

Every time is see his name I see Will Ignot.. yall remember him ? Number 23 olb
I remembered the name but not that much about him. Internet search reminded me that he had a good sophomore year but left the team for personal reasons after 3-4 games in 2019; sat a year and finished at WKU. Must have gotten crossways with Cornbread.

When Banks leaves after this year, he's the new DC. Josh already knew it was coming, someone is giving Banks a head coach job.

For the first time in years, I feel like we have several LBs who I am excited about to have on the field, guys like Pili, Carter, Spillman. Theilander is gonna be solid. Jalen Smith I want to see more of. Perry can plug in there. Inge has some johnnies and joes to work with. 😁

I'm with you on that,along with our dline, its going to make safety and corners look a lot better.
