Not exactly a resounding endorsement, but UT hasn't lost him yet. Hope his commitment sticks.

It is still interesting though that his father is speaking for him and not Willis himself. Miller has no problem reaffirming his commitment to UT. If Willis was 100% do you not think he would also?

I Guess my question to Sab or LV do you think his father is worried that the leaked story of him decommiting worries his father that UT might drop the offer before he gets into Miami if it is true? I am not saying he is going anywhere, but just curious. You here prospects all the time and their family saying they are commited but go elsewhere. It happens all the time.

I got $10 says he winds up a Vol. His dad seems like a man of principle, would make his son "honor his word". I could be wrong, but that would be a first. :eek:lol:

There does seem to be some history of his father speaking for him as in this Dec 10th story .................... "I took my official visit there and I liked the coaching staff, the campus, the whole atmosphere,'' said Willis, avoiding any direct comment about the NCAA investigation. "I'm looking forward to going there in the fall."

Willis' father, Gary Willis, did address the issue in an interview with the Greenville News. "You're talking about my son and something that he has worked hard for. It's not going to be based upon no girls, I promise you that," he said. "These girls had nothing to do with the impact when my son decided he would go to school at Tennessee."

But he was quoted in Sumter, SC paper today as saying his committment was medium.

I would just like to here what the recruit has to say. I hate when the parents get so involved.

I also do agree with the father and do not think the girls had anything to do with. To me that is just utter BS. I have been to so many universities and they all have pretty women.

I know that i would breathe easier if He said he was not de-committing along with many others on this board... but as for now I will take what glimer of hope that may be offered... he he

Anything can happen but at the same time, why would the kid need to reaffirm his commitment? How many times does he have to reassure the chicken littles in our fan base that he is a Vol?

Are Miller and Willis EE's?

Yes...both are EE...don't worry about either Miller or Willis...they are both all VOL!..both came to most of our home games...SC fans want us to lose them but, both are ALL VOL! JMHO...gBO!

That's what I thought. Thanks. Do we know yet when Miller will be on campus and if he will be practicing for bowl games? I really can't see Miller letting Willis walk away from UT so close to them enrolling but stranger things have happened.

I heard in another thread that he would be on campus on January 11th...GBO!

Willis will most likey make his biggest impact his junior and senior seasons IMO. I would love to get him and miller and they tear it up 2gether like they did in HS. Would just be a neat thing to see.
