Win-loss record projections for every SEC football team in 2023

They gave up a lot of empty yards but the talent and bodies are there… nature of the game because teams couldn’t run on us and they usually was playing from behind all game so they throw a lot… just looking at yards with no context won’t tell the full story.
I agree with the yards but the secondary was bad. Easily the worst unit on the team

Would need elite QB play and much improved defense to get to 10 wins.
I don’t think we will see elite QB play on a consistent level.
Florida, SC, and A&M are the swing games. Good that SC and A&M are home games and we get a bye before A&M.
Feels like a 9-3 season and get to 10 with a bowl win
How about elite running back play, solid qb play and improved defense?

Yeah they weren’t the best but it was some good pieces and moments just have to find consistency but a whole lot of bodies and experience back… t mac, Wesley, mccoulough, burrel, hadden, turnage, slaughter, Charles, GJL, all have multiple starts and season of film to improve on add in some young guys like Jordan Thomas, slaughter, Mathews, and Gibson and we will have so much competition that they will have to get better or lose PT… I think we see a big jump in db play this year… my hope is GJL and Slaughter at corner t mac or turnage at star, Wesley and Charles at safeties then rotate Burrell hadden Mathews in a lot…

Im looking for possible undefeated season provided Milton stays on top of the qb job. Why not?

I got us going 8-4 losses to A&M, Bama, Georgia and Kentucky
Reasonable but I think we’ll win at least 1 between GA, Bama, Tamu. We need 1 of those games to justify last year as not a fluke. Offensively I think we’ll be down a bit from last year but that’s still pretty good. If we stay clean on the injury front I think the defense takes a big step this year though. The defense has a lot of potential. I think we’re better overall this year w/more depth especially in the secondary. The defense has to be getting special attention from coaches bc they know it has to be better to take the next step. RG has some dudes up front and the Lbs are solid/deep. The secondary can only improve and will bc of depth.

Elite RB play would require elite RBs and elite o-line play. I think we are a couple of recruiting classes from that level. Maybe solid o-line, QB, and RB play with an improved defense gets us to 9-3

I believe our RB as a whole can play at an elite level. I also believe the threat of the pass can elevate the offensive line in the run game. Teams will not load the box and its only a few teams on our schedule that can play the run straight up. Either way it's my wishful thinking. We will know soon enough

I’m hoping we win them all. I think we will find out against Florida

10-2: We get that Georgia win, but trade Alabama for it. Kentucky catches us at a bad time.

This works well with my BVS because it'd likely mean we beat Georgia and they win the East anyway.

Imagine that scenario playing out next year with a 12-team playoff. If an undefeated SEC team is playing their last conference game of the year, and everyone else in their division is on 2+ conference losses, do they even play their starters or do they rest them? Is there any realistic scenario where a team that's, at worst, 11-2 after playing in the SEC title game, *isn't* one of the 12 in the playoff?
