I never forget that game!! Along with a short list of others

I remember it well. I was in my best friends wedding that day and I may have been late because I did not leave until the game was over.

I did give up for a bit toward the end of the first half and went outside to toss football, glad that only lasted a few minutes.

I watched a 30ish minute highlight recap of that sugar bowl the other night.

It was awesome, that is still probably my favorite team. New Orleans was off the hook, locals were comparing the Vol party to Super Bowls and Mardi Gras.

I saw the great Bobby Scott at Pat O'Briens and said hello. He invited me to sit down with his wife and their friends and bought me a hurricane.

It had been years since I watched it, I'll randomly watch old games. I was only 10 when it was played, but man it amazed me at how loud Vols fans were in the superdome. That place was rocking.

It was about 6000 Miami fans and the rest Tennessee Orange.

David Keith was at Pat O's that night also.

Also ran into a buddy who had just finished playing his Freshman year at Ole Miss. He said I'm buying for everyone, and I responded you don't have to buy. Then he pulled out a fat wad of 100 dollar bills and I sarcastically asked where he got that. We let him buy the rest of the night.

It is the radio broadcast, so you get to listen to the greatest announcer of all time.

Vol Network Classics: 1991 Tennessee-Notre Dame Airs Saturday - University of Tennessee Athletics
I was watching that game at home alone when the Vols started making the comeback. I started getting excited and called my friend from around the corner, who was a Michigan fan, and asked if he was watching the game. He said yeah he had people over and for me to come over and watch the end of the game. When the field goal got blocked the whole room erupted because most of the people there hated Notre Dame. There was a friend of mine sitting in a recliner that I always thought was a Memphis fan. I tried to high five and he just sat there with his arms folded. I looked at my Michigan fan friend and he said Charlie is a Notre Dame fan. Lulz.
