OK, so Big 12 isn't going to return to twelve members any time in the foreseeable future. They are way past due for a name change. I'm sorry, but the argument that "Big Twelve" has some cache doesn't hold water. The conference is embarrassing its member institutions clinging to this ill-fitting moniker. I've proposed that they rename themselves the Heart of America Conference. The HAC. The "Hac(k)." If they lose or gain schools, the name of the conference isn't impacted.

Anyone else have a proposal to rename the B12-2?
