It’s not the teams, but then you specifically mention half the teams being against it. Got itDont think its the teams that are against it - its the scum governors of those states -Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Northwestern, Maryland and Rutgers are all reportedly stopping the Big 10 from playing football.
actually only 3 schools voted to play -- Iowa, Nebraska and OSU -- Since I live in Illinois, I know Pritzker is against Illinois and NW playing and already said No Fans until a vaccine or no cases are reported -- iirc someone in the PF said MD gov was a Dem and I didnt bother looking that up. I hope they dont play because they are looking like fools right nowSince the decision to play has been politicized somehow, lets bring up that Maryland has a Republican Governor who voted to not play. Minnesota and Pennsylvania have Democratic governors that apparently voted to play according to this?
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer reportedly blocking Michigan from playing fall football seasonMy point is tying it to governors is as silly as tying it what the QB of the team wants to do. There were numerous factors that contributed to whatever the school voted.
