I think WVU is a serious threat to win the Big12 and go to the playoffs. Grier is an elite college qb with exceptional receivers.

We’re one offseason from our worst season EVER and the most embarrassing coaching search in history. It’s going to take some time. A bowl is still very possible.

I still think we make it to 6, and I still think 7 is possible. JG is night and day better than last year. Jordan is a very good RB. The OL actually seemed to get better as the game went along.

The DL and secondary are our weak links at the moment. We've got two scrimmages to try and fix some of the problems before our next real game. I still think we can beat Florida. They don't have a prolific offense like the one we just faced.

Geranium:Ddid look better. 1st and third qtrs were bad and the 4th wasn't much better. Oh well. :confused:

We didn't turn the ball over.
We blocked a punt.
We forced and recovered a fumble.

CJP now has his own game footage for the teachable moments. Luckily, we have two cup cakes coming in before the Florida game for which to apply the lessons learned.

Agreed. Ole Dan has them boys believing. They were having WAY to much fun last night dismantling whoever they played last night.

I hope our VOLS have that much fun during the next two games. After that, playtime is OVER!

At present, I'm taking solace in the belief that CJP is coaching for the future. If he coaches the next two weeks as if he is coaching against conference foes, I'll be happy.

Get a big lead early and turn the game over to the 2nd and 3rd strings... Something CBJ never did, iirc. That's how you build depth, prevent injuries, build morale and confidence in your team. F*** the individual stats! The only stat that has ever mattered (too me) is the win/loss columns.

I don’t even remember who we played two years ago today, but all my fb post reads from that day is “embarrassing” and apparently I was talking about our defense, particularly the secondary based on comments. Good times
