I sincerely hope no one in this thread is against lightning/weather delays. I’m shocked how many in the crazy place (FF) believe we shouldn’t have them.
It’s probably part of it, but I think lightning just isn’t something to mess with. Also ignored in that thread is how lightning can bounce around and strike well outside the storm itself. It’s not worth the dangerJust read that thread. I get it. It's annoying to sit around when it is sunny and storms are 8 miles away and go in another direction. As I think 1 or 2 people have pointed out yet everyone seems to keep ignoring and don't acknowledge in that thread is it is all about litigation. We live in a sue happy/get rich quick world, which is why it has come to this.
I saw a guy killed by lightning on the golf course when I was 11 years old. **** lightning. I hear anything that sounds like thunder and I’m inside. What I thought. But you know, that's one of those things that didn't bother me one bit when I was younger. I was probably about 30 or so before I started paying attention to it. Now? I don't feel safe unless I'm inside somewhere. Fawk that.
That explains alotSeveral years ago I was running from my truck to the house cause it was pouring rain and I heard a loud crackling hiss and could feel electricity tingling in my scalp then a super loud boom. Turned out a bolt of lightning went right over my head and hit the transformer on the light pole in the back yard. Just about peed my pants.
You had a like and then you had to mention them directly South of Knoxville. No like for you, Mister!Yes, I will be pleased if the Corn Dogs upset the Barners. I'd like to see chaos in the SECW - team A beats team B, team B defeats team C, team C defeats team A, then loses to team D, and so on and so forth. Let UGA have its day atop the SEC and appearances in the CFP against other conference champions. In the near future, let the Vols displace them.
