Windy's football discussion thread.

I hate this cliche, but, ima throw it out there...
It is what it Is! Sadly.
Sadly at this point it is. I don't know if Pruitt is the answer or not. We won't know for sure for a couple of years. At this point I'm not sure Saban could do much better with what we have to work with. It'd be like asking Gordon Ramsey to go in the kitchen at Burger King and turn it into a 5* restaurant.

I'm not sure either but I was not excited about hiring a coach with no experience. Sad times is that's all we can get

Only one of my 3 kids picked up my love for the game of football. We were talking about it earlier. She's never gotten to experience a really good Tennessee team. The last team I would classify as really good is the 04 team that lost to Auburn in the SECCG. She was 3 at the time. I just hope she gets to know what that feels like at some point soon. To go into every Saturday confident that your team is going to win.

Wold is still turning. We're all, hopefully, still on the sunny side of the grass.

It's gonna be a good day, Tater.

Reading thru the ff. Lol

I think we, as a collective, expected CJP to be the "alchemist" that figured it out. You know, one of those guys that thought they could turn lead into gold. Well, it was impossible then and, after last night, it's impossible now. Naive is me.

I'm an optimist and I believe CJP will get us where we want to be. Sadly, it's gonna take 4 or 5 years. It's that bad, folks. It's that bad.

As sure as people gather throughout the week to discuss this teams flaws and mistakes that cost us the Florida game last night, it's also sure that these same people will have a remedy and a winning game plan prior to next Saturday. Now, if we could only get the coaches to gather with us. :D

GBO!

Briefly, the Vols had six turnovers, on four of which Florida scored 24 points. The Vols also gave up a safety and cost themselves a touchdown by fumbling a ball out of the end zone for a touchback. 47 - 26 = 21, the Vols final score... Tennessee beat themselves in that game, surrendering more on mistakes than Florida otherwise scored. As Behr might post, SMH.
