Windy's football discussion thread.

Mocs play the ETSU Bucs herruh in Johnson City on Saturday, and I hope the Bucs stomp the shoes off em

Thanks, I'll look into that, I like kayaking also.
I have rented from vacationcentralflorida.com in the past for Cocoa Beach. They sometimes run last minute specials so they could have something available.

There is a restaurant in Titusville called Dixie Crossroads. It's touristy but it's pretty good for that area.

If Tiffany is able, you can go to the end of Cocoa Beach and rent kayaks. Depending on the season, there will be dolphins and manatees in the Banana River.

ngaf and I don't really either
but watched a little of the Texas State-Troy game....TSU won big
flipped it over to Amazon for a few minutes for the pro game, but I enjoy the college game so much more

He's so right especially about the Georgia/Alab*** game....

Vols baseball coach Tony Vitello sends warning to fans ahead of Tennessee football's matchup against Arkansas

"It's going to be tough is the bottom line," said Vitello during an appearance this week on WNML's SportsTalk. "I think it's going to be tougher than people expect. I mean, on the road in the SEC is incredibly tough. But really just any SEC game. You saw it with Kentucky and Mississippi. The Georgia/Alabama game is what it was supposed to be. But you didn't get to that final score the conventional way or the way that you would think. So with it being league play, I don't it's as chaotic as baseball, but it's pretty dang close. Expect chaos and expect things to be more difficult than maybe the pundits want to make it.

i rarely get back to Tennessee anymore, but from afar I'm often left wondering..why the **** y'all ain't run that sniveling dipshit john adams out of town yet

Old men have no filter. I appreciate that to a certain extent.
Old-Young.....I seemed to never really have a filter, or mine is just broken. I remember that time they did a survey of management for a certain large insurance company I worked for. Did not go well. I was 100% honest though, neither villified nor praised, just said it clearly. Praised my boss as a person who I dearly enjoyed talking to, but also listed where he was very deficient for our team. (he had no clue what we did really) It was supposed to be anonymous. then the HR person read them out in front of everyone and the manager. Without names, but then starts quoting me and inserts "He also says".....given only two of us on the team were men, and the other guy was a complete ass kissing suck up. I got evil eye for the next hour I mean dead stare from my manager, not nary a blink. Was hilarious in retrospect. Probably cost me a promotion to an entire other dept, (HR guy was kinda pissed that I was completely honest in the review he told us to be completely honest in) and also cost manager him being moved laterally to a less stressful dept where he could do no harm. In the long run it did him a huge favor, he got a less stressful job at the same pay, and we got an extremely compotent manager as a replacement. Anyway a long winded way of saying my filter is broken, and I tend to just say whatever crosses the noggin. Wifey will confirm.

For one cause I live in Chattanooga. Knox Sent has always been crap. Kinda enjoy making fun of them. My fav part is he is always reffered to as a "respected sports columnist", still trying to figure out respected by who?
