Windy's football discussion thread.

One of the guys who knows the comity and is an ole Miss fan is mad because he says the committee has us in and ole Miss out.
Who knows.
Win out and I think we’re in.
Same. I’ve been arguing with a Georgia fan that says Ole Miss, Bama, Georgia and Texas deserves to get in but we don’t.
All because of Arkansas. Which yes it was a bad loss. But Ole Miss has two loses that are worse than ours.

Kentucky’s only SEC win is vs Ole Miss and LSU is a very mid SEC team. They have a very good win vs Georgia and that’s it. He won’t even admit that if Ole Miss deserves to get in then we do too because of his own measures.

Depends on how the conference champions end up. its conceivable that numbers 11, and 12 are left out too.
They might as well make them play in games. But at the same time I get it. I could see not wanting a 3 loss team to get in. But if I’m being honest I’m for whatever gets us in. If we somehow made to the SEC championship and lost then we shouldn’t be penalized for playing an extra game. But if another 3 loss is what’s is keeping us from getting in then my opinion will be different. I’m firmly aware of this double standard and I’m okay with it.

If I’m not mistaken, four conference champions get the bye and await the challengers who win the initial round this year. So, do any of you see a path to the SECCG for Tennessee? If not, then the Vols have to be among the selected 8 other teams. “Selected” being the key word. Whatever their rankings leading up to their final, the committee’s final one will be to support their selections.

Was Arkansas ranked by the AP when they defeated the Vols on their home field? Georgia was ranked in the top 10 by the committee when they defeated the Vols on their home field.
