fahr nuff I just wouldn't look at it shopping for QB1 or QB2......
i would bring in the best qb you can get with the understanding that there is a real competition for the top spot. Everyone these days wants to pigeonhole who qb1 and 2 are, have the guy whos definitely redshirting figured out and all that.

It almost never works out with quarterbacks like you want it to and anointing starters leads to complacency

I agree, I just don't think we need to bring in another NIL Celeb before they have actually done anything. If we wanted to look for someone with MORE experience like when Hooker came in I wouldn't mind. It's just now this NIL thing has HS stars thinking they're more then they are and even good kids can be used and corrupted so easily by parents and "managers" etc. If I'm being honest I still think Nico is a good kid steered wrong. Millions will make that happen. This NIL thing is gonna be topsy tervy until it settles down. Worse it makes some new kid feel like their hot **** and is bound to cause animosity with older players who put the time in. I guess there is no going back, but I can think of more then a few good reason to stick with the QB's who chose TN, thinking full well Nico would be main QB for several more years. They WANT to be here.

agree on nil celeb.

Get a solid option who will challenge the others, compete, and most importantly, provide depth.

Spend whats left on line depth or weapons.

I think Nico is as talented as we thought he was, but he's just as distracted as he was talented and thats never gonna work for QB1 in this league. someone posted that gmac was simulating every call that merk was running during the o&w game on his own on the sideline.

Thats the kinda **** you need to be about to stand out in this league. not working on your fashion line or worrying about whos gonna slice you off fat enough stacks to make your head coach nervous

If you can get a bonafide 1 yr starter, sure. If not, Id prefer a guy who will push those 2 but not expected to start but someone who cpuld play if needed. Someone better than Gaston Moore...

Perfect world if GMac isn't ready is playing him 4 games and keeping redshirt.
Did we just totally agree on something?

It all sounds good. We'll sea.

"I've been on some talented teams that haven't done too well because there were a bunch of individuals on those teams," said Kitselman. "And I'm not just saying this to say this, but man, this team's different. Our O-line is close. Our wide receivers are close. Our tight ends are the closest group I've ever been with. Our quarterbacks are close. Man, this team is a team. And like I said before, there's no one else I'd rather go to war with."

Nico’s initial NIL deal set a record. Though Nico’s performance was good and team record was very good, Nico didn’t have the stand out performance that would merit asking for a bump in earnings. Citing Blecher moving from UGA to Miami for ~$4m per year isn’t appropriate precedent for a number of reasons. Nico erred in this play for bucks. Is there a party willing to put together a more lucrative package for him, now? I think he’s playing long odds. Bad juju.
