He’s supposed to have a ton of talent. From what I read on FF, which is worth exactly what you’d expect, he had Issues at UGA with weed and class attendance. I think there was a rehab stint in there?
He would have to sit out a year, and then have two years of eligibility.
I don’t imagine that CJP would take on a project unless he felt that there was hope. Maybe there’s some one-year test coinciding with the one year sit-out, no idea.
All I know is that I’ve seen a lot of crashes and burns, but I’ve also seen a lot of miracles. My belief is that if God doesn’t give up on people, neither should I. I would assume that CJP and the program would keep a tight rein on DeAngelo, if for no other reason than to help his recovery.
All a ton of guesses, tho.
ETA: and there are some signs of a mini-exodus from Georgia by players, so there’s that too.
