He’s gotten better but is still inconsistent and has a ways to go. I hope a year with Chaney will help him get there. It would be great for everyone if he had a Peyton type year. And a wonderful lesson about not giving up on a kid too. Plus after all the flack he’s taken I’d like to see him remembered fondly.

It should help that he is done with school and can focus on the offense. Good competition should help but I have a feeling it's going to be hard to keep HB off the field.

HB has planned on redshirting. He’s an EE who is going to try and get a masters degree. We will see how that plays out.

I want them to play the best guy. Whoever that is.

I wish JG would just transfer. I've been back and forth with it, but I'm over all of it. I can't say enough about his dedication and toughness, but I'm just over him. I'll support him if he stays, just saying I'd sleep better knowing he was transferring.
