* I know there are a couple who share legit info, and usually are right. There are a couple considered insiders, who I've seen wrong a lot, yet anything they say is believed. How do people put so much confidence in our "insiders" who are usually wrong about everything? I see a few who take their words as legit gospel, even though they're wrong a lot. Even seen a comment saying since one isn't saying anything, I'll take it as a yes. ?? I mean I get wanting good news, but that's why so many got mad at gruden, when it wasn't even him. I remember one poster after gruden saying he had no interest the last time say something along the lines of not believing him, cause someone on here said it was a done deal. Idk, I just don't get it.
Sorry to take this in a serious direction, but...How do people put so much confidence in our "insiders" who are usually wrong about everything? where is Ron and what did u do with him?Sorry to take this in a serious direction, but...
A fairly high percentage of people will believe something to be true solely because they want it to be true. They convince themselves that this must be right. “My feelings can’t be wrong. That’s unpossible!” Or, as I like to say, “My mama said ___________. And my mama ain’t no liar. She’s a saint.”
This is why looking into things like confirmation bias, cognitive dissonance, and the Dunning-Kreuger effect is fascinating to me. I can find the things in my own life where I fell for the same type of things.
This makes sense.Sorry to take this in a serious direction, but...

It’s a huge topic in investing. Somewhere or other there’s data that showed that dead investors (with forgotten accounts) had the best returns, because they weren’t continually twiddling around.Sorry to take this in a serious direction, but...

We use ef Hutton and he says.................It’s a huge topic in investing. Somewhere or other there’s data that showed that dead investors (with forgotten accounts) had the best returns, because they weren’t continually twiddling around.
I am also fascinated by the way people behave. Specifically in groups. For example, next time you get on an elevator watch the people around you. As the doors shut everyone will stop talking and stare at the numbers above the door.Sorry to take this in a serious direction, but...
