Kjv is fine for light reading. NASB or ESV are far more accurate. CJB if you’re concerned about a translation that takes Torah into account with word choice

Like the NASB it goes from the oldest available copies and footnotes possible alternatives. It differs from the NASB in that it defaults to a literal translation word choice without exception

I like the study of words as they were meant. Like love for example, used many times in the bible, but different use of the words in the old text, with different meaning. My pastor is big on looking at what the word meant, and how it was used in scripture.
