To me, all of these alternate uniforms are too Big 12 or even G5. As much as I despise Penn State and Alabama, I respect the fact that they consider themselves beyond the need for 'alternate' uniforms. I consider us in that category of having a standard uniform combo so classic that aside from more merchandise sales it should never be messed with.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think anything is wrong w/ having a mixed in alternate uniform occasionally. Our brand is very recognizable and unique, but there’s a reason that recruits like to get their pictures taken in the alternate uniforms. If that helps enhance somebody’s recruiting experience I’m all for it . I think Bama and USC are really the only schools that don’t have an alternate uniform at this point . Penn State wore these in the CFP vs SMU

They look like the same PSU colors to me. It's the colors that I'm talking about, and ours are orange and white.

Listen, I'm just very old school when it comes to stuff like uniforms. With NIL and being properly prepared for the next level, I highly doubt that players base any decision on where to go on goofy uniform choices. Otherwise, why would Alabama and Penn State be among the recruiting leaders year in and year out?

I didn’t say there was anything wrong w/ your opinion, I pointed out that it could enhance recruiting visits, but not make someone choose a school over a different one.
