Wiper Blades

****. I’ve got a pair of wiper blades in the garage that I have to put on my daughter’s car.

Honestly... me too. It sounds exactly like a meltdown I would have. A couple of months ago, I put running boards on my truck and at one point I looked at my wife and told her that I was so incompetent that she should file for divorce.

I love the install time these companies usually put on their products. 45-60 mins usually means triple that and a trip to Lowes/AutoZone for some other tool or widget.

Not quiet the same level of frustration but replaced some wiper blades and had them fly off in the first real rain. stopped and was able to find the sob in the rain. got him snapped back in after getting soaked for 15 minutes as people splashed me, but I could tell something wasn't right. got home (mile from where I lost the blade). did a quick google/youtube and saw how it was supposed to snap in and got it done in no time. highly suggest watching a video first.

Had to get a windshield replaced yesterday. As the guy finished he says "My quote includes new wiper blades. I can give them to you or if you'll hold on 5 minutes, I'll put them on for you."

I couldn't help but think of this thread.
