According to a quick search you can charge your phone wirelessly with an Otterbox case installed. It goes so far as to say it will even work with Otterbox Defender Thick Case. I'd keep the receipt just in case you have issues.



So this allows the chord to slide up and down but it'll stop the connector from going through the holders?

Yeah but it also just holds the end in place so you can just grab it and pull it out of the thing.

Have a friend that rented a car that offered wireless charging in the console. Was using it to charge his phone thinking it was the greatest thing since sliced bread....until he dropped his work badge on the charger..... wasted half a day getting a new badge.

It is actually pretty convenient for the night stand. I will say that. Any other use - I literally see no advantage

Interesting observation, wireless chargers can screw up RFID badges. Thanks!
