Wisconsin Recall. Dems wait 4 hours before crying foul

Busing in Dem union voters from Michigan:

funny whether true or not

On WMAL’s The Chris Plante Show today a Michigan resident by the name of "Mike" called in to discuss how he had infiltrated a Michigan Union's organized bus convoy, en-route to vote in the Wisconsin recall election for Democrats.

The caller claimed that Michigan’s “Democrat Unions” had organized a convoy of 4 buses, filled with Michigan Democrats, with the intention of voting for Tom Barrett in the Wisconsin recall election.

This has got to be a prank call but it is a good one. The caller says he is going to vote for Scott Walker after getting a free ride and free food.

Hilarious. You would think after losing twice on this exact same issue, they'd simply accept the fact that a third loss was more than possible.

Watching the coverage of this. MSNBC complaining that pro-Walker side has outspent recall proponents 7 to 1. Fox complaining that recall effort sent out mailer showing whether your neighbor voted in the last couple of elections.

Both hedging their bets.

Whichever side wins they'll claim it's a big deal for November.

Irony is that it seems everyone long ago decided what they think and so no advertising and no mailer is going to make a difference.

Did the mailer name names? If it did, isn't that illegal?

Did name names but is not illegal - basically public record. Doesn't say how someone voted - just whether or not they voted. Still a bit disturbing.

An interesting conspiracy theory though is that is does identify names and addresses of registered voters who haven't voted in the last several elections. Might be names ripe for being used by some of those folks being bussed in...

I just don't think this is the harbinger of anything, regardless of outcome. I suppose it gives some insight into how Wisconsin will go in November, but how can you predict Florida, Nevada, etc, based on union politics in Milwaukee ?

That's a stretch. If either side got caught faking votes the fallout would be awful. I imagine both will accuse the other, though.

Obama won WI by something like 15 points. If that state is now leaning R, its safe to say pther states that Obama barely won are for sure in play

On Morning Joe today they were reporting Obama has 7 point lead in polls.

They were saying that WI is a state that leans GOP on state elections but DEM on national elections.

I personally feel that if you are too damn lazy to get an id to prove who you are then your too damn pathetic to be allowed to vote. Making someone have to prove who they are too vote is the only way we can end voter fraud.

Agree 100%, and even that is hardly spoof proof.

It shouldn't be this easy to hold a recall election anywhere.
