Wisconsin Recall. Dems wait 4 hours before crying foul

Walker wins and it looks now like a pretty big win.

The MSNBC vs Fox coverage has been amazing. Hannity claims unions are dead. O'Donnell declares the big winner of the evening was Obama

It shouldn't be this easy to hold a recall election anywhere.

Stupid representative democracy, right ?

It's stupid when a duly elected official gets recalled purely on ideological grounds.

Citizens United cuts both ways here. Walker won by a good margin originally. He enacted policy that went against a special interest group and they brought national resources to force a recall vote (on one particular piece of legislation to GA's point). Other national interests weighed in to mitigate the offended special interest group.

It's funny how the D spin is that this is all about money from outside - they conveniently leave out that it was all about money from the outside originally.

Haven't seen an analysis but apparently the exit polls were pretty flawed. I saw where college grads (41% of voters in exit polls) were breaking +8 for Barrett. That would mean the remaining 59% would need to be +6% for Walker to even out.

Will be interesting to see how it all comes out.

How can O'Donnell spin this into a Obama. win?

Ed Shultz has probably had a heart attack.

Exit polls (which appear questionable now - that may change) showed a 9 point advantage for Obama over Romney. Still, it's as ridiculous as Hannity claiming this is a tipping point for the end of union power.

You are only arriving at 100% that the flaw.

Someone posted a link earlier that some county was having a 119% turnout.

MSNBC is saying that Obama is safe because the exit polls show him with a lead over Romney but those same polls showed the race to be "too close to call" and we now it's not so...

57% in and a +15 for Walker now - but D people still think it will be very close. Wonder what that remaining 43% is comprised of (would have to be all of Madison) to make such a difference.

Yes i saw on Morning Joe a 7 point Obama lead. They were saying WI votes GOP during state elections and DEM during national elections.

I think that got revised down but you are correct.

Right now it looks like the exit polls were off but it depends on which precincts have reported.

That is true and they basically have for the past 30 years, but money will be spent and Obama will have to fight for a state that he MUST have to even consider winning

they called the state within 1 hour.

the exit polls were a joke showing this race was close.

the exit polls are even a bigger joke claiming that obama has a 53-42 lead among those who voted today

You can LOL, lulz, chortle, snicker etc. You know I'm right. This was a pure partisan Hail Mary based on trying to capitalize on disgruntled union members.

Outcome had to startle the dems rustling up this crap. Unions also took another licking.

Paul Begala when just confronted with the fact that 36% of union members voted for Walker said it was like chickens voting for Colonel Sanders. He just can't fathom that people might see the need for balance between public unions and government spending.

It's simple - the Koch brothers hyp-mo-tized them with $$$$. This outcome in no way represents the will of the voters.
