Raising the basket 6 inches would change the strategy and make the game better.

Have the hoop on a little trolley system that alternately raises and lowers during the game. During overtime, add an alternating port and starboard tilt, with a lid that randomly springs shut during the final minute.

A trap door in the coach's box could also be added for amusement.

Purists would also love to see actual peach baskets used for goals and for the refs to have to climb a stepladder to retrieve the ball after each made shot, after which a jump ball would ensue.

Now THAT was basketball!!! Once they replaced the peach buckets with those newfangled net things, well the game was lost. I have not watched basketball since 1906!

What I would really love to see in women's sports is the challenge of calls. Refs get so many wrong two or three challenges wouldn't hurt to get some of their misses right.

With moving the 3 point line back, I think it will just encourage more drives to the basket taking even more wild shots.

At least they evolved....Next they cut a small hole in the bottom of the basket so they could use a stick much like a broom stick to punch the ball out of the basket....After careful thought and research someone had the bright idea to just cut the bottom of the basket out and the ball would go through without the aid of a ladder or broom stick. LOL

Equality. Same game should have the same rules, no matter the differences in players.

Going to have to change the size of the basketball as well.
