Do we get a 7 seed in tournament? Auburn, and Missouri, and Tenn. are tied with an 8 & 8 record in SEC play! Since we beat both of them......Should we be seventh and play a 10 seed? At lease we would be in different bracket than South Carolina!!!!????

Florida and Vandy just did Tennessee a huge favor by beating Auburn / Missouri. That puts Tennessee in a 3 way tie for #7, with Tennessee having the tie-breaker advantage over. That gets them out of SC's bracket and gives them the chance to make a run in the SEC tournament.

I originally posted that wasn't right.. but the standings weren't updated on espn. You're right!! We are 7 seed!!!

I like our chances against both Arky and A and M. I'm sure Aggie fans weren't wanting this bracket outcome..

The question is, if they win the SEC tournament, which is very possible, how low of a seed can they get??

"Very possible" might be overstating it. Today's win was obviously fun and much needed but beware of reading too much into it. Anything is possible, that's why they play the games. But it would still be a huge upset for an unranked 7th seed to win the conference tournament, particularly with one of the top 3 teams in the country looming....

I think reaching the final is not out of the question. Even playing poorly, they were within a hair of beating tAMu, UK, and Miss State. Even if they played well, I don't think a win over SC is guaranteed, but if they get to the SEC final, that's definitely a step in the right direction.

I agree. And if they made the final they likely have a pair of wins against top 25 A&M and Miss. St. and probably back in the top 25 themselves, not to mention helping their seeding tremendously. My concern is just about any time this team has actually looked really good (Auburn, at Vandy, etc) they tend to follow up with a crappy game. It wouldn't surprise me if they reached the final. It also wouldn't surprise me if they lost their first game to Arkansas. This team....

Going with today's starters on Thursday seems like a good plan. DD seems much happier-- and more productive-- when she starts.

Today's game proves that. I was laughed at for saying it this week. If we win a few games in the SECT and work up to a 7 seed, the bracket will be optimal for a final four run. Baylor, ND, SC have all shown they're beatable.

One game does not fix all. The talent is there for the final 4...coaching is NOT! Holly Dooley Warlick should still be fired. Congrats to the ladies on their game today.
