Well I did not want to bring that up but it is strange when you do not have a 5 star recruit at every position all of the sudden your teams do not look as good.

Dude get on some Prozac i think you might be clinically depressed. The OL is the most developmental position to play in CFB, these guys suck right now, I get that, but give CBJ and his crew some time for ****s sake. He turned our defense around from worst in the SEC to the one of the best, and he needs more time with the offense.

The SEC west is a tough place to win any game. Remember when UT and the Gators were dominating the whole league and there was talk of a north /south division so that TN and Fla wouldn't have to bump heads until the SEC champ game? Those were glory days- may never come again.

How do you figure we have " one of the best" defenses in the SEC? The stats don't say that.

Few complained after OU or UGA. It was the loss to the incompetent boob Muschamp that renewed the doubts.

Oh, and Arkansas has demonstrabled improvement on both sides of the ball year over year.

I'd advise not trying to take "signs" from a game like this one. There's zero chance they would do a lot of the things they did today against a quality opponent.

ST coverage has improved, dropped passes are down, Worley is better, TE is better, DT play and DE play is up, lb play is improved, tackling has improved, angles have improved, pass coverage has improved, 3rd down D has improved...
In other words, according to Count and others, nothing has improved.

While their D played well against Bama unti vs unit I think UT has better units its just unfortunate that they have a great OL and ours suck which makes their team seem like years ahead of ours.

There are clearly improvements from a players standpoint all over the field and anyone, including Count, can see that. My problem is some very bad coaching decisions. I still can't get over the third down, 5 wide set inside the ten against OU and the offensive game plan against Florida wasn't merely abysmal, it simply wasn't planned out at all.

What really scares me is that no one acknowledges this is Jones' system, so faulting Baj or any other coach is the equivalent of faulting Randy Sanders or Dave Clawson.

Coaches make mistakes. Every game. Did anybody watch mighty Saban and his team with multiple bad coaching errors the last few minutes of the game? Bad play calls, bad plan, bad penalties, bad subs out of timeouts for illegal participation penalties...

Coaches make mistakes. You hope you have the talent to overcome them. People seem to see Butch and Bajak mistakes and are oblivious to mistakes by every coach out there. Maybe some don't watch football outside of UT games. I don't know.

Nope. Watch more football. Watch some nfl today. Mistakes made in those games would lead to firebutch threads here. Saban and his staff yesterday made at least a dozen coaching errors.
