Can someone give me the skinny on how this kid is progressing and if he has seen any snaps in games? I don't remember seeing him in any games as of yet and wondered where he stands in terms of development? With a 6'6'', 250 lb frame and hopefully descent hands, shouldn't we be seeing more of him?

I heard on the radio today that the coaches are working with him to be more physical. That he is progressing a little slower than they thought he would, but still expect him to maybe be a solid player by years end.

According to his utsports bio, he has played in 4 games but has not recorded any stats

He struggled against AP.

He is no different than most Freshman, learning to play more physical. The difference is he has the body and the jar of PB to go with it, blocking seems to be getting better but still needs to play faster. I think he will be a great player in 2014 when he can go thru a summer and more weights.

Yes, being more physical has been the issue from the beginning. Does anyone know if he has 2 years to play 2 or 3 years to play 2?

With a true freshman already getting reps ahead of him, I'd venture to say he'll be hard pressed to get much, if any, PT next year. Jmo
