steven pearl in the starting rotation? you kidding right?

Pretty sure he was talking about the big man/5 spot rotation. Either way, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with the amount of pt CBP gave SP this year, especially at the end. The kid may have heart, but he's an offensive liability when he's on the court, and constantly made bonehead plays with the ball in his hands while trying (and failing miserably) to make something happen.

Strong. Dumb as a crate of hammers, but you came strong.

I hope the kid turns into a monster SF, but he wasn't this year.

"BTW...I was NOT BY ANY MEANS happy about not playing at the end of this season..but I made peace with it bcuz its what we needed. MOTIVATION"

That's his latest tweet. He is not leaving UT. No way.

Also from his Twitter:

"It was pain...wrote/recorded to get it off my chest cuz music is my outlet..some of it I can't share with the world..but TEAM is b4 SELF"

Then later..

"But hoopin is in my blood as u can see from the pic...So believe me when I say...Next year I WILL BE A BEAST. "

Sounds disappointed but ready to prove himself for next year. Definitely doesn't sound like he's thinking of leaving.

Fantastic. He could be a matchup nightmare for other teams if he works on his game

A friend of mine said that he is friends with Woolridge on facebook. When this friend logged on after the Elite 8 loss, he had a Woolridge comment in his news feeds that read something to the effect of "It's been great to be a Baller Vol, I'm going to miss it here".

When this friend went to Woolridge's profile to see what he meant (i.e. to see the comments / responses), it was not there, which means, Woolridge posted it, then deleted it not long afterwards.

Do you think this implies Woolridge is leaving UT? I'd hate to see a person with such solid rap songs leave UT. I'm still waiting on the next "Eric Berry" song, and fear he may leave to only make a "Jesse Scroggins" song. Has anyone heard anything on this matter?

What would we do without his solid rap songs? Oh My!!!!!

the way he plays his game it is like he wants to play at the 2 spot. i could see him rotating in at 2 or 3 if we needed to size up and go huge on somebody. i am pretty confident that swiperboy will become one of our best players. i think that CBP sat him this season for a reason and when he tweets about MOTIVATION he obviously is getting the message very clear. we should've had scotty going bench status for the same reasons but he would probably look for a transfer if that was the case

uh, I wouldn’t lose sleep if he left. He's not very good. Has all the physicals, just don't the mind of a "baller"

He did. It was for our team to win. I love Swiperboy and hope he proves everyone wrong, but he's lost on the court. I hope he can use that for motivation and turn into a serviceable player.
