Eyah, Eyah, Eyah, Eyah Oh. EEEH, EEH, EEEEEyah Oh.
In the jungle, in the jungle, the mighty jungle;
The lion was put to sleep tonight.
The newsflash was flashed indeed.
Oh, Oh,Oh, Oh, oooooooooooooooooooh
Eyah, Eyah, Eyah, Eyah Oh. EEEH, EEH, EEEEEyah Oh.
When I was at U.T., there were dorm rooms in the stadium, underneath the seats.
Correct. You are referring to South Stadium and East Stadium Halls. When I was an Anthropology grad student at UT, virtually all of my classes were held there. The Anthropology Dept. is still located in South Stadium Hall.
I remember Darden, he was a huge bust. He was a great athlete though. I was at the Bama game in 97 in Birmingham, and after we won the players ran over to the area where the UT fans were all gathered. Darden starts doing backflips, back handsprings, and cartwheels. It was really impressive (he should have been a gymnast). I don't think talent was the problem, so I guess he was lazy, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, or both.:dunno:Was Brian Darden in uniform today?
Gibbs hall is close enough to hear from practice field or Neyland.. It overlooks the practice Field, and it is just over the hill from the stadium. And with the sound system in the stadium, you can easily hear what is going on over there.. just sayin..
Now with that being said, I know stokely and gibbs hall get torn down at some point this year, so I dont know if anyone is living in there or not at this time
