Considering the media show for Bryce Brown, he may want to take it to the next level. Unfortunately he's not the no.1 recruit in the nation and nobody may care by then.

I want DaRick Rogers anyways and this Ambles thing smells like a Lane Kiffen signing day stunt!

I predict he will go to USC. Similar to X getting Janzen last year. Don't underestimate the power of X over certain recruits.

Hope I'm wrong.

Not according to Hubbs. Hope you're right though. If he wants to play for UNC then more power to him.

Hmmm. Just got a gmail chat from a friend who pays for the RIVALS shiz, and he said Hubbs is the one reporting this now. Although, he did say "Hubbs says he 'might' not sign."

No link. Just hearsay. Anyone? Bueller?

Seriously, I'll pass. But you are welcome too as soon as your Mommy takes your shovel away and makes you get out of your little sandbox.

I would love to have him as part of this class. IMO...I think the best thing CDD can do is to wait for the LOI's to come across the fax.....IF we get down to 1-2 left....let Ambles know we are about full. IF we get down to one and he has not announced anything....Offer it to McNeil(DT) and call it a day. IF for some reason we have a couple guys back out...and after taking McNeil, and Glass...we still are sitting on 1 ship....so be it. Then if he picks Tennessee a week from now..fine...we have room....if the staff can find someone else to take the spot...don't hesitate. 1 WR does not make or break this class. JMO

Yeah, Im getting tired of this As the Recruit Turns saga myself. I cant blame a kid for not wanting all the rock star admiration to end, but he needs to be aware that after signing day deals are done at breakneck pace. I hope he doesnt let a bridge collapse to where he wants to go in college. Im no recruiting expert but isnt their backup plans for every spot available on all these college teams? Id like to have him but Id also like to have alot of other guys for this class. Maybe he is waiting to see what Rogers does, etc. Oh well, the suspense continues. Hurry up and get here wed!:swoon3:

I think the kid is torn.... Give it time guys. We are still in this. And honestly I believe we are in the lead.

If he was a lock for SC he would have never visited here this weekend. Do you think Kiffen wanted him to? Get real. I think he really loves UT but he is just making sure he is making the right choice in his mind. I think he will end up here.

Don't bash him. Let him make his choice. If he decides to go elsewhere so be it. But at least let it play out. Because we still have a great shot.

I dont know what that means for us.
With us already in a numbers crunch, that would shut the door on him, IMHO. What a gamble it would be to try and hold a spot open for him and risk losing out on a recruit like Crump or someone else that would help in an area of critical need, like DT or OL.

If he does that, I say slam the door shut, and move on.

You hit the nail on the head. Ambles is no longer the most popular receiver in this class. Da Rick is ... both in terms of ratings and fan popularity. Ambles is waiting to see if Rogers comes here and if so he will go elsewhere.
