The only reason Miami told Brown to look elsewhere was because he wasn't going there. And honestly that isn't what the Brown family said happened. Brown could have went to Miami anytime from what they say. And from watching how Bryce handles himself I believe that.

Sometimes these message boards make a mountain out of a mole hill. I mean any little thing that get reported gets turned into he isn't coming here.... I mean give it a few days before you start telling the kid to Fk off... I mean it is laughable.

You and 99.9% of the people on here have no clue what is going on in his head. There are strong pulls to all the three schools he has as finalists. It is his choice. Damn give him time to make it.

And for the people that say he has had time. Hell, He was commited to us forever. He didn't know how this was going to play out. He didn't take many visits at all. Does he know all his options? Do you? The truth is it is a huge choice for him. Give him time to make it. We still have the best shot IMO. I don't understand why some of you all throw these kids under a bus so fast.... Let it play out!!!!

Let me guess, you were one of Kiffins biggest ass kissers before he bolted and now one of his biggest critics right? Your opinion means nothing to me, and you yourself mean even less.

The thing your talking about from ESPNU was filmed last week and was a rerun so that does not even apply now.

What the hell are you talking about?

I agree in giving him time, if that is what he wants, all I'm saying is that UT shouldn't leave a scholarship on the table for him when we could use it for someone else that could make an impact.

Never dogged the guy other than what I see as the truth, he is all about the drama, he loves the attention, he isn't alone, many others do as well.

I would love to have him obviously, but we have more pressing needs, such as OL and LB. With the class that we have already put together at WR, he would be icing on the cake.

Of course my opinion is based on the notion that we get Rogers, if he signs with UGA, it would change everything.

So I guess go ahead and give the ship to Delvin freaking Glass.... Or Donald Crump or whatever the hell his name is.....

This kid is an elite player. If you think for one second we would not hold a spot for him you are completly out of touch with the reality of recruiting.

From your posts and alot of other posts like yours on here. I think you just like to type because you clearly do not understand recruiting and players of Ambles quality... You never tell one to look elsewhere... Like I said it is laughable...

What is laughable is your ability to read and comprehend.

Just saying it would be a big risk, that's all...our WR class will be very good to excellent without him ( assuming we get Rogers ), other positions were desperate at...with Williams going to Ole Miss apparently and Stanley seemingly up in the air with us or USC, we need LB's and OL moreso than another WR.

When he was commited to UT he was one of our best recruiters. He talked us up at the Army game. Now the we have our 3rd WR coach in the last few months the guy waivers a little. Calm down, the sky wont fall if we dont get him.

If he signs with UT, everyone bad-mouthing him will be singing him praise.

I think everyone understands his wavering, lot of changes have happened since he originally committed.

He would be a great addition, if he doesn't sign with us we still have a good WR class.

Ambles is a stud and our coaching staff will wait as long as needed. I am sure of that.....

You have absolutely no basis to say this on. I don't understand why people feel the need to say stuff like this about a high school kid.

Just what he's doing right now. Stand up, be a man, and pick somebody. Don't drag everybody along and try to keep your self in the limelight. He's just playing everyone.

Nobody is for certain what it is he is doing, he could be doing that and he could really be torn...either way somebody will be happy when they get him and others will be pissed when they don't...if we get Rogers it will sting a lot less for us.

I understand about the lower ranked players who have committed. What happens if we hold a scholarship for him and another high rank player surprises and wants to committ?
Great problem to have IMO but who gets the scholarship at that point?

Not necessarily...when you are already as shorthanded as we are, you may not be willing to take the risk of holding that one scholarship open when you need bodies. If it is a risk Ambles is willing to take, then so be it. I wish him luck wherever he goes and I hope he has great success. Love to see him running through the T on Saturdays, but we will be OK if he isn't.

Espn rumors page about Ambles:

College Football Rumors - Rumor Central -NCAA - ESPN

Girl troubles scaring WR from Vols?

That link/write-up is just about the twitter fiasco between Ambles and Heather Harrington this past weekend. That has been blown so far out of proportion it is ridiculous. I have no clue why that even merits a mention in ESPN's rumor central page anyway?!?!? Not much rumor there at all...it is what it is.

I dont know what that means for us.

I don't really think it means much at all. He has previously stated he isn't afraid of competition so I don't think he is holding off to see what Da'Rick Rogers does. As far as I know Rogers still has grade issues anyway so he could possibly end up as a sign and place guy. I have heard Ambles was leaning back toward UT until a call from Kiffin yesterday so he could possibly just be torn between schools. If his family comes into play at all, he ends up in Knoxville or Chapel Hill since I've heard they aren't too keen on him heading out west. I do know his dad likes UT, but is letting him make his own decision. At the end of the day, he is a super talent and I would love to land him.
