1. Kentucky - Too many athletes. Will not come close to winning NCAA championship though.

2. Tennessee- Hopson will be an AA. Key is 3 point shooting.

3. South Carolina- Significant gap between them and the 4th best team. Have experienced guards which will make them have deep run in tourney.

4. Vanderbilt - More experienced just not enough talent.

5. Florida - No big time scorers. No leader.

6. Georgia - Mark Fox is coach of year if they finish above .500

That is pretty much the perpetual Vanderbilt scouting report. I'm still not sure why Stallings hasn't moved on to a stop where he can get some athletes.

He's not that good of a coach.

I can think of a whole bunch of guys with better jobs who aren't as good.

I have watched a lot of Vandy games and not been impressed coaching wise. I agree with the fact he has not have many athletes, but there were times i went "That was a dumb coaching move." I think him and Vandy are a perfect fit.

And you're right, there will always be coaches that have better jobs than they deserve and vice versa.

Hat, I think you are correct in picking Vandy third in the East. Overall, they have more potential than Florida and South Carolina. What has happened to Billy and his recruiting?

He vastly overrated a couple of guys. Jai Lucas and Chandler Parsons turned out to be far less than he expected, with Lucas leaving. He's also reverted back to recruiting in the manner that kept getting him knocked out early in the 'AAs prior to The Rich Kids arriving on campus. A roster full of soft, defensively apathetic gunners isn't going to get you far.
