Canada exposed them... their defense was horrible in that game. These guys seem to be half-assing it...

btw, we did end up losing that game. we now have to beat mexico to stay in...at least we've already beat them once.

What happens if we beat Mexico and Japan beats Korea AND Mexico? Won't that be a 3-way tie, with only the top 2 moving on?

If Japan beats both Mexico and Korea then Korea is 2-1, the USA is 2-1, and Japan is 2-1... I'm just wondering what the tiebreak is for that...

It is hard to get fired up about the games because so many guys live and play in our major league. The best I can make out of it is the best pitchers aren't playing, is that a fair observation?

I see... even though Japan lost today, they advance. But hey, all three teams went 1-2.

Admittedly I didn't follow it enough to get a grasp on the rules... but some of those scenarios were ridiculous.
